hi all. a client gave me a disk with video files to compile 9 dvds from. i thought he said .mov files on the phone, but they were .mod files.
vegas pro 8 couldn't even see them in explorer or file import dialog. but as a last resort, i tried dragging from windows explorer direct to timeline. it worked!
I think .mod format is used by jvc digital camcorders.
p.s. just bought vegas pro 9 this week to do the edits. same trick applies.
