SUBJECT: Beatmap Question: Rendered file dropped into new project...embedded Tempo changes kaput?
KEYWORDS:

Scenario:

1. I build up an Acid Pro 7 project and call it: Project-A.acd .
It contains a TEMPO Change marker at the halfway point: 100 BPM changes to 120 BPM.

2. I render the project mix to a .WAV file and name it: Project-A-rendered.wav.

3. I start a new Acid Pro 7 project (Project-B.acd) and drop the rendered file Project-A-rendered.wav onto the timeline.

4. The rendered file plays back at the new project's singularconstant TEMPO setting.  No Tempo change.  If the new  project's Tempo happens to be set to 120 BPM, the rendered file plays at a constant 120BPM from beginning to end.  The rendered file's embedded Tempo change has no effect whatsoever.

QUESTION 1:
It seems that the new Projects's single, universal Tempo setting gets to dictate the tempo of everything in the project tracks. Is that the only way it works?

QUESTION 2:
Is there any way to force the new project to adhere to the Tempo change embedded in the rendered beatmapped file that I dropped in?

QUESTION 3:
Is my only option to set up a new Tempo change marker in the new project, that is the same as the Tempo marker embedded in the rendered file?

Steep learning curve...
