The editing monitors are just a visual aide for editing not for things like color correction, image purity and final judgement, you should always use a external video monitor to check this, you can get a feed for a external monitor with a BlackMagic Intensity Pro, Matrox MX 02 mini or other in the Matrox MX02 series, or AJA products, for non broadcast use a good flat screen TV that can take a reasonable calibration will do.
