Hi PPro techhies:

I have a question. After dusting off my old Premiere Pro 1.5 software, I decided to venture into another movie. This 30 minute short is about a historic world famous trial is set in a modern day setting....and it's gonna be a winner! (I hope).

Anyway, I've never collaborated with so many people before that had specific specialties in moviemaking. I'm now blessed with not only a great DP (director of photography) but also with a sound expert, mixing from a digital sound board. Here is where it's getting interesting.

My sound guy lives about 4 miles away and we are both real busy. He has Premiere Pro as well, version 1.5 I believe. I've culled my production shoot tapes (11 hours worth on 4 tapes) down to my target 30 minute short film length. I've used the cameras sound pickup to maintain audio continuity with the video, although the camera audio will be replaced by my sound guy's work.

How do I get my sequences (15 of them) to him? I've created 15 seperate sequences, named SCENE1 to SCENE15. Each one has the camera audio track synched with the video.  Do I render each scene to a movie (audio included) and EMAIL him the AVI? Do I NOT include the audio and render an AVI movie then email to him?

I wish there would be an easy way to render JUST the timeline to him (via EMAIL, FTP, FLASH disc). This way he can see which clips from which camera went where to aid him in the audio synching. Or is THIS even necessary? Of course if he were to open this timeline, there would be no underlying file structure to support it, so Pro would keep asking (on open), "Where is this file?...".

I'm greatly confused on how to 'workflow' with my soundguy and how to efficiently and properly transport files back and forth to achieve the finished project. Workflow management is not my strong suite, but I get by most of the time.

To sum it up, I want to have a way for my guy to see the movie, add the audio, then get either the video/audio synched and mastered or give it back to me to master it.

Any help would be appreciated.
